Provided by YP.comAt first sight, the location of this restaurant in an old hotel with neon lights would keep most tourists passing by. What they don't know is that this is a favorite of locals, and down home hospitality abounds with great food and great service. I was in town for an interview and was told to try this place - I wouldn't be disappointed - and I wasn't. The french onion soup is some of the best I've had. Dinner was pecan crusted salmon with a twice baked potato. A small salad accompanied the meal. Everything was very tasty and the price was very fair. Ambience is casual, comfortable and friendly.
What did they need to get 5 stars from me? Serving the twice baked potato really hot enough to rapidly melt butter - and switching the iceberg lettuce to field greens, and voila, a 5 star rating all around.
