The Quincy Housing Authority works to promote, develop and maintain affordable rental and homeownership opportunities. The authority serves low- and moderate-income individuals and households. It administers the ROSS Homeownership program, which features counseling, budgeting and first-time homebuyer seminar solutions in Riverview in Massachusetts. The Quincy Housing Authority also offers computer, office and job readiness skills training opportunities. The authority manages a tenant services department that is responsible for ensuring accurate rent calculation and lease enforcement. In addition, it owns and manages more than 600 family public housing units. The Quincy Housing Authority administers the Family Self Sufficiency Program, which assists participants in identifying and achieving educational and career goals.
