Quitman High School is a college preparatory school that provides academic and career preparatory classes to more than 250 students in grades 7 through 12. It offers a range of extracurricular activities, such as community service activities, visual arts competitions and band concerts. The school maintains a yearbook, the National Honor Society and student government. Quitman High School s academic curriculum includes fine arts, math, health and physical education, science, English, family and consumer science and social studies. It has a guidance and counseling department that advises parents on the progress of their children through test interpretation, career planning and academic progress. Quitman High School is a part of Quitman Public Schools and is located in Quitman, Ark.
