Brooks County Middle School, located in Quitman, Ga., offers an extensive curriculum for students in grades six through eight. It has an enrollment of more than 560 students and affiliated with the Brooks County Schools. The school offers a wide range of subjects, including English, language arts, physics, chemistry, biology, world history and geography, mathematics, algebra, calculus, trigonometry, geometry, and health and physical education. In addition it offers family and consumer sciences, band, music, keyboarding, fine arts, foreign language and computer technology. The school provides various facilities that include a library and media center, art rooms, computer laboratory and cafeteria. Its students also participate in a variety of clubs, such as show choir, Future Business Leaders of America and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Brooks County Middle School has various sports activities, including basketball, football and softball.
