Quitman Elementary School conducts special classes in the English as a Second Language program, Title I reading and math, content mastery, reading recovery, and gifted and talented education. In addition, it conducts classes in choir, music, media, physical education and art. Quitman Elementary School has a guidance counseling department that assists students with anger management, grief and loss, and academic, personal and family problems. The school also provides health care, transportation and meals services to the students. It is a part of the Quitman Independent School District. Located in Quitman, Texas, Quitman Elementary School provides educational classes to more than 600 students in prekindergarten through grade six.
