After reading these 2 unfavorable reviews, I was about to place my order,. I THANK GOODNESS I did not,

Cons: Your 2-4 pallet order will sit on their truck until it is convenient on route to you, probably explains the issues with yellow pieces

Prices are all over the place (no price list what so ever), the women who answers the phone is extremely arrogant, originally quoted $240 per pallet delivered Empire, now $280 per pallet delivered for Empire Zoysia.

Do yourself a BIG favor, buy from Super Sod, they will cut your sod at night and delivery the next morning, IF you have issues, they want to help you AFTER the sale, you will not be stuck.

I totally agree. I bought a pallet last week 7-22-14 and the pallet i bought from Carolina Turf Farms was short 10 pieces and the top pieces were green and the middle to the bottom was dead i laid it and it all died DON'T BUY FROM THEM or you'll have to return it like i did.

Im a home owner and went to raeford turf farms and was told that his empire zoysia was in perfect planting condition at a cost of $170.00 a pallet. My yard can take no more then 8 pallets. I have planted the sod which was half dead and brown. I went back and showed the owner what the sod looked like after 3 days. I watered it 4 times a day . He told me that it was good sod and will turn green in a week. What really happened is it died within a week. He would not replace the sod nor refund my money. I ended up buying 8 more pallets which 5 of the 8 was dead. What they did was put good sod on top and everything under was brown they also mixed in a different type of grass. I spent a total of $3000.00 and had to take 3 quarters of it off i went to oakland plantation in council nc and purchased 8 pallets of empire zoysia which is green and growing healthy. Carolina Turf Farms are thefts, dishonest, and very nasty.. Basically after spending $3,000.00 i was told tough luck. I highly recommend to anybody looking for sod to NEVER even think about dealing with Carolina Turf Farms. From a person who ended up spending $3,000.00 at Carolina Turf Farms and had to pay to have it thrown away.. Johnny who got shafted....
