Their website claims that "At 1st Choice Cabinetry, we believe the first step toward a successful project is building strong relationships with customers." We have been dealing with one of their representatives, John Adair, and I can assure you that is not what he conveys. He was gruff, dismissive, and generally disrespectful when we initially discussed what we wanted. That translated into him delivering a desk that was unusable because of chair clearance, another desk that did not meet the specifications given, and a microwave cabinet that was not what was depicted/discussed. On top of that, he was late for meetings. Both my wife and I found him insulting and unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and find a cabinet company that values their customers.

As a residential general contractor I have used 1st Choice Cabinets for years and have found their products, service and designer to be excellent. Kelly has years of experience, great attention to detail, and innovative ideas on design elements, The install department and the punch department are responsive and work very hard to ensure the client is happy with the finished product. I would highly recommend 1st Choice for anyone with discerning taste!

Spent over $30K on a kitchen. Very poor communication, got handed from one salesperson to another which didn't help either. The designers lacked any real knowledge and particularly lacked ideas. The installation was average at best with very amateurish cuts on 90 degree shelf cuts, lots of poor finishing. Above all else, some of the drawer fronts were not matching the rest of the kitchen, we were told this was 'normal' and even though we showed dozens of pictures from Houzz showing the correct way (could find none with odd frames around the drawer fronts!) we did not get any satisfaction and had to pay an additional $1700 to correct their mistake by ordering the correct drawer fronts. This is the 8th kitchen we have designed and installed in our lifetime and First Choice is far from the standard I have come to expect, I would not recommend this company unless you are looking for a builders grade run of the mill kitchen, anything else you will be disappointed.
