Provided by YP.comHad a terrible first impression with them right off the bat. The second we walked in and sat down their owner began grilling me about what EXACTLY was "wrong" with me, infertility wise, that had lead us to adoption. Before she even asked where we grew up, what we had done for a living. It was literally introductions and then boom "why are you infertile?"
We told her about the procedures we had done and two miscarriages we had suffered and she then proceeded to say "I did IVF 6 times before I had my child"--apparently the number of times we had done it didn't impress her. Since our appointment with them a month ago which cost $300 we have had zero contact from them. Not even a quick email to say "it was nice to meet you all, best of luck on your journey and let us know if we can be of assistance to you".
Apparently they decided I didn't suffer enough painful infertility procedures and miscarriages to make me qualify to be one of their clients. Don't even bother with a consultation unless you want to feel judged and have your privacy invaded and receive zero follow-up from them after giving them $300 to judge you.

Provided by SuperpagesOpportunities and matches are few and far between, usually a result of couples own networking. Staff is not professional, knowledgeable, consistent, or responsive. Documentation is poorly written with numerous basic grammatical errors. Staff refuses to follow program agreement stating that it is outdated to the detriment of adoptive parents. "Monthly" updates are sent out in two to three month intervals. Almost all meetings and trainings are rescheduled at the last minute, disorganized, and not informative. Required reading material is not current with open adoption philosophies. Selecting an adoption agency is an important decision. Do not make the mistake of choosing A Child's Hope.
