I have never had any problems from this daycare for she has helped for many years with my children. Yes, can the owner be a cut and dry person? Oh yes she can!!! But she has always been honest with me and has truly loved on my family. Even aside from daycare, she has helped in other areas to too. What I don't understand with the reviews is that as mother myself if you don't like a program why stay? Do you know how many other daycares are out there. All it sounds like to me is that someone has a grudge. People should really think about posting untruths. It can be very damaging.

When I first came there to check it out she seemed very professional and pleasant, but after today she showed her true colors.I noticed that my child shirt looked stretched out and pulled on when I came and got him from the daycare.I called and asked for Ms netta and asked if I can see on the cameras what had happened. I go there and talked to another teacher about it and in walks in Ms. Netta with the most nasty attitude telling me how this her house and I need to stop gossiping with her staff because she'was in charge. I don't know what she was talking about all I wanted to know was what had happened with my son. Hence she told me when he first started that if it was ever a issue she can show me on the cameras. Be careful she puts on a very good front like she's a church going lady that care about your child. The so called teachers aren't that great either. I walked in on a teacher yelling at a 2 year old making him cry. Look on google for my full story I put up. I had to erase alot

Where do I begin? After a prev...

Where do I begin? After a previous bad experience with past daycare we went with "A Mothers Touch Child Development (which is an in-home daycare)". From the onset we understood that the rules would be a little more strict when we started with our 9 month old. The owner has her mother and typically a 3rd person who cares for the children. The convenience of her hours is what drove the main decision to go with the daycare (bad mistake). Given the hours we were working we had very few options to choose from. Let me say we never had any problems with the owners mother or anyone else she hired to care for the kids they were always friendly and great to us. However, the owner is another story, she tells you about her 20+ years of experience. The major problem is the jaded attitude that she has when talking to parents. You can tell she has maybe been in the daycare career a little too long. If you have questions or want to ask about something please check them at the door. Most questions or concerns was meet with constant feedback of us "challenging her". Note to owner of the daycare...It's my child I will ask as many questions as I feel get over it! If you are a first time parent as we were forget any learning curve you might expect to have given to you. She was rated as a 5 star but I believe she has now changed to a center which has lowered her back to a 1 star. Her changing of days off made it really hard for two working parents to cope. Be prepared to cash in any vacation and sick time you have with your employer because you will use it all up based on her calender for time off. Her constant straddling all major Holidays was ridiculous she would take the Friday and then the Monday of every Holiday on the calender. Please tell me what working parents have that much time off? Oh, by the way you will need to take the week of Christmas off as well. We were also told not to park in front of her house for drop off or pickup which we followed, for some reason other parents were allowed to...gee I wonder why? You do get the sense that there are double standards for some parents. The owner will remind you that she can drop you at anytime (which I have no problem with but reminding people frequently sets the wrong tone). Maybe it was cultural divide on why we seemed to be treated differently, I'm not entirely sure. You really do feel like it's parent vs daycare owner which in the end never works and is not good for business. As for the children care I will say that it was ok, our child seemed happy there for almost a year. I would not recommend for any type of long term stay, however for a drop in service they would be suitable just check to see if her mother or anyone else is working and you will feel better with leaving your child there.
