I called around to find the best deal on having my screens replaced. Burke Bros was the best price so I drove all the way over there and they the price quote changed from 18 to 25 dollars --- even when the man admitted he had quoted the lower price when I called, just an hour earlier. And boy was he was rude. The lady that gave me the price over the phone insisted that she had given me another price (not wanting to admit a mistake on their part). She wasn't as rude as the screen guy. I went home to double check my notes and verified the whole conversation. I would like to support our local businesses, but not when they pull something like this. Is it that hard to give good customer service now-a-days? If they go out of busness, it won't be a surprise.

This really is a great, locally owned hardware store. Forget the bog box stores and Ace, this place has it all including a knowledgeable staff. They great you as soon as you step inside and always offer to help you find whatever you need.
