I do NOT recommend Edinborough Commons. My boyfriend had a one bedroom apartment there for a year and is now moving in with me. His rent was around $680 - that's the flat rate...they DON'T include water in your rent as most apartments around here do. Their "valet wast service" is another $25/month added in to your rent. If you do choose to live there after your year (or what ever) is up, they raise your rent rate about $100/ month. My boyfriend's rent went up to almost $750. If you want to get out of your lease early, you have to give a 60 day notice (continue to pay monthly) and then pay two months rent (so basically you give 60 days and pay double rent for those two months).

We had LOTS of problems with the apartment. When he moved in, the dishwasher didn't work (they did replace it with a new one). All the appliances are outdated! It seemed like every other week the A/C "froze up" and stopped working (in the middle of the summer). We eventually just turned off the A/C and stopped staying there for the most part (when we stayed there we used box fans to keep cool.

Every time we tried to cook on the stove and oven, it would set off the smoke detector which was VERY annoying.

Our apartment was on the second floor and the people below us were obviously cold natured because their heat was ALWAYS coming in to our apartment and making the A/C work extra hard and we couldn't even get it cool in there most of the time.

It was a very unpleasant experience.

Oh, and don't forget to bring your own microwave because they don't provide one in the apartments.

They have parking garages for about $30/month. Parking is alright sometimes, but sometimes you will have to park in another parking lot from your apartment. Frequently, they take up parking spots with equipment, leaves, mulch, etc. and leave it there for weeks.

The people in the clubhouse are half the time pleasant and half of the time are really rude and act like you're wasting their time (especially when you ask anything about your apartment or are turning in your 60 day notice).

Save your time and money and go some where like Country Club Homes on Oberlin Rd. @ Fairview Rd where you can get a two bedroom for less than $650, water is included, and you don't have people on top or below you (side by side).

A terrible place to live

Please do not waste your time or money renting at this complex! It is filled with spiders, noise, and a maintenance staff that tells a bunch of lies! The promised they would fix the issues with my apartment and never did!!

Don't do it

Not the greatest apartment in the inside, horrible parking at night-- will have to walk a ways to your apartment in the dark, make u pay a pet fee + 10 extra a month and once I moved out they want to charge me 430+ for new carpet... Because they only replace the carpet every 5 years.... How disgusting!!!!!
