Our church sits at the meeting point of city and country life, welcoming people from many Triangle locations. Worship, teaching, fellowship, and mission activities enrich our lives and community. You'll find us to be a family of friends. Macedonia Baptist Church was established in 1963. Our congregation's long tradition of hands-on missions has resulted in local, national and foreign mission projects. Mission teams traveled several times to the Mississippi Gulf Coast for re-building after Hurricane Katrina. Operation Inasmuch teams do short-term repair work for families in Raleigh. Teams have traveled to Cuba and worked construction projects in Honduras for several years. Sports mission projects have ranged from a Canadian mission trip to Macedonia's annual youth baseball camp. A church-wide mission outreach offers annual barbeque dinners to our community as a fund-raiser for missions. Our music programs, senior adult ministry, youth and children's ministries, are all involved with missions outreach projects locally. The Children's Place, an extension of our church, is our weekday early childhood program. There, teachers minister to children and their families, providing a safe learning environment for infants through Pre-K.
