I am extremely unhappy with the service that I recieved when I went in to order eyeglasses. The Optician was aweful and obviously was not skilled what so ever. It appears that they slap the title of Optician on just about anyone who can "fog a mirror" and they aren't at all. My glasses came back and I ended up having to go elsewhere to have them evaluated. I found out that the bifocals were at two different levels, therefore I could not read properly and my distance vision was hindered. I ended up having glasses made elsewhere and I tried to take these back and they refused to give me a refund. It's a shame that a large company like this can't or won't hire competent help. After some research, I found that Opticians are licensed through the state of NC, but if you work under a Dr. you don't necessarily have to be licensed. I'm willing to bet at Eye Care Associates they are not. BUYER BEWARE!
