The Motor Fleet Management Division works under the North Carolina Department of Administration. It provides passenger vehicles to state agencies for employees in the performance of their duties. The division is a receipt-supported operation that purchases, maintains, assigns and manages the state's centralized fleet of approximately 8,500 vehicles. The Motor Fleet Management Division enforces also state policy and regulations concerning the use of the vehicles. It is located in Raleigh, N.C.
