What a JOKE!!!! This place sucks!

They have you make appointments and they never start on time. They always start on your hair at least an hour after they were supposed to. It Always take 6+ hours for finish.

They are EXTREMELY RUDE! They clearly talk about their customers using their Gully language. You
can tell because they are looking at the person and laughing when talking to each other!! And their english
is really hard to understand. Totally UNPROFESSIONAL!

They are NOT friendly and cheerful to see you.

All of the braiders appear to be under 20 years old and have no idea what good customer service is!!

They absolutely try to overcharge you! They give you one price over the phone and and another one when you show up.

They want you to PAY UP FRONT!!!

They only professional thing about this place is the BS youtube commercial. They spent money for this commercial becausetheir service SUCKS! If you have a good product and respect your customers you don't have to spend money
on BS commercials!

Also notice that they don't allow you to rate them on youtube!! You can see that there are at least 2 complaints on youtube but not one thumbs down rating!! The reason is that they have disabled that option.

If you go to this place YOU WILL REGRET IT!! But don't take my word. Go by there and witness for yourself! Then

I had seen this place a month ago never thinking to read the reviews on this pIf you, or anyone you know, is interested in starting the application process, please call 703.421.2990 to schedule an interview.

The initial interviews will be in our Sterling Cliniclace. I got my twist 2 weeks ago. If I would've known what I know now I would have never spent 170 on getting my hair done. First off I got there at 1:30 I didn't leave until 8. I ended up getting havana twist. Horrible idea. 4 days into having them I got out the shower & 2 of my braids came out. And just yesterday 3 of my braids came out. Aside from that. When I went in the shop I there were girls laying down in the front that worked there. No one greeted me. My head was hurting for a couple of days because how tight everything was. The girl that was doing my hair took a 25 min break to go eat & she had just started my hair. I was told to pay in the beginning. The women were arguing with their customers. Nothing about this shop is professional. I'm never going back there again.

I really struggle with leaving this review because I do not like leaving negative reviews. However if I can save someone from what I've gone through I'm more than willing to share my experience. I went to the salon for goddess faux locs I was originally quoted one price and was told hair would be provided. After getting to the salon and waiting an hour I was informed I would have to purchase my own hair. My stylist told me I couldn't get the hairstyle I wanted because my hair was too soft. I had exchange my hair the salon kept the hair they open. I ended up getting regular faux locs. The process didn't take long but I repeatedly ask the stylist not to make it so tight. My hair was painfully sore. 5 days later I was looking at my hair my scalp was still swollen and full of sores, some bleeding. I'm taking my hair out because it's not worth it. Ladies please save your money and go somewhere else.

This place is terrible! I gave it an extra star just because I got the student discount and the girl who did my hair made sure I left safely since it got so late. Anyway, I went in there for Havana twist waist length. I was told it would be $200 waist length and $180 mid back length....an extra $20 I saved anyway might as well get them long! I got there around 3:30 that afternoon and didn't leave until around 10:30-11pm which was outrageous because other ppl who came to get their hair done was in after me and out before me so I'm trying to figure out what's taking so long?! Of course the girl stops in the middle of doing my hair to take a lunch break and half and hour later she comes back and talking on her phone, singing all in my ear which was really annoying and awkward. So she finally finished and I left. So the next few days my hair looks really good until one day I wake up and there's like 3 of my twist sitting on my pillow. So I stored those away since they came from the back of my head I'm like wtf!? So the next few day I'll put my hair in a bun or pony tail and take it out....twist comes out with it smh. I called multiple times and requested for them to fix my hair FOR FREE since it hasn't even been a full two weeks since I left the shop and I'm already having issues with my hair....I'll get an appointment but about time I get there I'll always get hit with some bs excuse for me to come back....NEVER AGAIN I'll stick with my home stylist in Cary from now on

Made an appointment for my daughter and she had to wait 1 hr and 40 minutes to get started. Not professional. I will not come back for service. They do a lot of talking while working with customers. .

Called and was quoted price over the phone of 150.00 for micro braids or box braids, plus $ 40.00 to take out hair. I told had taken out some of my hair already. She said she would take some off some more make it like $25.00 for taking it out. Nara or Nara's mother told me she would give me a student discount. I said ok. I got to the shop and told her I wanted box braids. After I got my hair done, one of the hairstylists was talking half in French and half in English. She asked me how much Nara charged me. I said 150.00 for the box braids, 40.00 for the take out even though I had helped take my hair out. The girl then says it 160.00 for box braids. I said she gave me a student discount. Then Nara's mother laughs and all the other stylist laugh and say "You are a student?" They then start arguing back and forth about how they are going to start charging $180.00 like the other shops. Then she’s like you got smaller box braids than the usual. I told her “No one told me anything about it being more money until after my hair is done. The girl then says it 160.00 for box braids. I said she gave me a student discount. Then Nara's mother laughs and all the other stylists laughed and said "You are a student?" They then start arguing back and forth about how they are going to start charging $180.00 like the other braid shops... It’s strictly unprofessional and rude. The braiders need a lesson in common customer courtesy. Just because it’s a braid shop, that doesn’t mean you can talk about customers in French, argue about who is going to do a customer’s hair, put you foot in the chair where your customer sits, prop your stuff on customers and then try to charge them a different amount then what was stated. It’s not an upscale hair shop, but it doesn’t’ have to be in order to treat people with respect. Would not go here again!
