North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources, also known as NCDENR, is headquartered in Raleigh, N.C. The department offers preservation and protection for North Carolina's natural resources. It administers regulatory programs to protect air and water quality, and public health. The departments natural resource division protects fish, wildlife and wilderness areas.
