Simply Crepes is an amazing little gem of a restaurant nestled in Lafayette Village on North Raleigh. I found the food , service and atmosphere to be spectacular. In a day and age where many restaurants try to quickly turn and burn their guests. Simply Crepes truly has mastered the art of making their guests feel comfortable . Our server was very kind and patient , taking the time to walk us through every one of the many choices many of which have ingredients locally sourced or gluten free. We started with the wine flight and poutine appetizer. The flight featured some delicious French and Italian wines while the poutine offered crispy fried red potatoes , melted cheese curds and was smothered in a thick beef gravy. The cordon blue and smoked salmon crepes were spectacular and creative, bursting with flavor. Don't forget to try the Nutella dessert crepe with vanilla ice cream and sautéed bananas. I would definitely recommend trying them out for a nice lunch or dinner out. Explore the village while you're there but don't tell too many people. You may want to keep this special place to yourself!
