I had the recent pleasure of finding a little known place called "The Point" If you dont know exactly where it is, you may drive right by it! (I have 100 times! the regulars know where it is though!) Its at 5 Points, next to Rialto Theater, & we all know where that is. I happen to go to Rialto on a date & was quite pleased to discover this cozy, comfortable, laidback & DELICIOUS restaurant! I was so impressed that I asked to meet the Chef. Although Chef Alan Phillips hasent been at "The Point" for quite a long time, you can tell by his cuisine...he's been there long enough to prove he's not an amatuer & takes pride in what he does! Chef takes his menu quite serious & you can taste it in all he offers on his menu! From his daily specials (which are out of this world) to pizza(I noticed the pizzas are cooked in a wood fire brick oven, cozy!) pastas, seafood & prime rib on Friday! There is something for everyone on this menu! This place is so affordable & fun to be at, its no wonder its always so busy! I notice they dont take reservations right now, but my bet is; with Chef Alan Phillips being there..they soon will!
