Terrible.



The first time I came here, I was treated to a haircut and a nice shampoo. The cut was fine, however, they failed to mention that it would be extra and didn't even ask if I wanted it in the first place. The barber claimed that he needed to shampoo my hair in order to cut it properly. BS.



However, because the cut was good, I decided to try the place a few more times. After dealing with several miscommunications and a bad attitude with the same barber, I decided to try another one at the same shop. The second one was much more respectful; however, he never cut my hair the way I asked it to be cut, and seemed to be continually confused with whatever I asked for. So, at this point, I was either dealing with a great barber with a bad attitude or a nice barber with subpar skills.



After coming to Wide Awake a few times, I can say that I will not be returning due to the headache caused by bad attitudes, poor customer service skills, and subpar cutting skills. This is without mentioning the overpriced hair sponges (which I found on Amazon for $5), and the continuous feeling that they are just after your money. Overall, pretty bad.

The barbershop you have got to see. They specialize in all types of haircuts for men,women and children of all ages and ethnicities.
