I went to Goodwill in Rancho Cordova today. They had a sign posted from the ceiling stating that all blue tag merchandise was 50% off. I made a purchase that had a blue tag w/ black font. I paid for my purchase. They charged me full price on the item that I had a blue tag on. I spoke to the manger and the cashier and they both said no my tag is considered black! The only thing about the tag that was black was the font! They refused to honor their blue tag discount! The manager showed me a different tag that was half blue and half white w/ white font and said this is blue....(what an idiot)! What a bunch of bull! Then the same cashier helped the customer before me and she (the cashier) didn't thank the customer after the transaction was completed. Before that customer walked away the customer pointed out the sign in front of the register that stated if the customer isn't thanked then they get a percentage discount on the next purchase. The cashier again didn't honor the advertised sign. The cashier said, Oh I wait till you get out the door to say thank you! WOW! Where do they find the people they hire? What a bunch of crooks! I will never shop at a Goodwill store again! I'm going to spread the story everywhere I can! The Internet, Facebook, word of mouth and everywhere I can. I’m a business owner with over 5,000 plus contacts in my email database. I will do an email blast telling everyone what I experienced at Goodwill store today. I think Goodwill store should change their name! Not only that but now that the economy is so bad Goodwill stores jack up the prices! And screw their customers they are supposed to be helping. We the people need to start opening our eyes to see what this company is really all about. Yeah they help the needy THEMSELVES! I would not have given them even one star but unfortunately that wasn't an option.
