We just drove by El Ranchero Restaurant next door to the Stater Bros on 19th. We have eaten there on several occasions even before they had their beer license. The food was always great and a lot of it was obviously home made. They finally got their beer/wine license and were selling imported Mexican beer for $2 a bottle. Come on, it cost me that much in Cabo!

NOW?? Here comes El Perico Ranchero??? Did anyone take a look at their to go menu? That was the first thing that frightened my wife. Gone is the $2 beer, that home made atmosphere and up with the prices!

No one likes to see any small business fail, but when you take something so simple and try to make it better, watch out....

Good Luck El Perico Ranchero, we will give you a try, but not happy to see the wholesale change in our local eateries....

If you are looking for a great Mexican food, this is the place. I have eaten here a number of times and the food is always great.
