MY name is lori Crosby. And I AM a licensed marriage and Family therapist and a registered play therapist serving rancho CUCAMONGA. Upland. And the surrounding communities. MY mission is to Bring healing to children. Teens. And adults through the power of play. I specialize in treating individuals. Couples. And families struggling with issues related to divorce. FOSTER/ADOPTION. Abuse. Child misbehavior (acting OUT). Bullying. Depression. Anxiety. ADHD. And relationship problems. Because I incorporate play based techniques into MY practice. I AM especially effective with young children (ages 3+) WHO struggle to express themselves verbally. MY clients learn to express their emotions. Take responsibility for their actions. Develop better solutions to their problems. And interact more positively with the people around THEM. MY primary therapeutic approach is client centered play therapy, a scientifically validated approach for treating child and adult clients. I Also utilize trauma focused CBT. An evidence based treatment approach shown to help children and CAREGIVERS overcome trauma related difficulties. With couples. I USE the GOTTMAN method of couples THERAPY. ALTHOUGH many therapists USE elements of play therapy. I AM a registered play therapist. I have received over 150 hours of play therapy training. And I have over 1.000 hours of experience implementing play therapy. I AM prepared to help Bring healing and peace to YOU and your Family.
