Ridgecrest Intermediate School provides educational classes to students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes math, science, social studies, language arts, reading, technology and art. The school has a library media center that provides access to electronic resources, including magazines, world encyclopedias, databases and newspapers. Ridgecrest Intermediate School has a parent-teacher-student association that conducts regular meetings and handles the planning and implementation of a variety of fundraising activities. In addition, the school has a cafeteria that offers a range of food items. It is a part of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District, which provides educational services to more than 11,900 students in kindergarten through grade 12.
