We keep our boat at Torch River Marine and LOVE it! The staff are incredibly helpful, we cant say enough about them. My husband and I are first time boat owners and had limited docking experience. John the owner, offered his own time to show us everything we needed to know on docking our boat. Very helpful! My girls absolutely love their dogs who not only are cute but are friendly too. We are very happy with the service we receive at Torch River Marine, and judging by the amount business they have we aren't the only ones who feel that way.

I booked our reservations in July for a week stay at Torch River Resort for a week in mid August. I gave them all my credit card info and thought everything was good to go for our much deserved and needed family vacation only to receive a phone call a WEEK prior to our date saying that they double booked our reservation and so sorry, but they only have one other spot left at the end of the month when my father (who was the one putting this whole trip on) was going to be out of state on business! So basically, our whole family vacation is ruined. The young girl (who said she was the manager) said she had 2 other numbers to places I could try and make a reservation with. I was appalled that they didn't try and make it up to us any other way besides "oh sorry why don't u call these other places". How RUDE. I told her you call them and call me back, I already made my reservation! So 2 minutes later calls back and said they are booked. I did my own research because I figured 18 miles of lake and you only came up with TWO other places for me to call. Sure enough I found more and they are ALL booked. Unbelievable. No one there did anything to make this terrible mistake on their part up to us. I am so disappointed I will never contact this resort again. They also own the marina across the street and bounce back and forth from the resort to the marina. Maybe if they focus on one place at a time they may be able to get their reservations correct and not ruin peoples vacations!! Thanks for nothing! My family and I were so looking forward to this trip. We have never been to Torch Lake and have heard such great things about it and wanted to experience the beautiful lake. Maybe next year........
