BHW Industries is a part of Black Hills Workshop, which is a private, nonprofit corporation. BHW Industries hosts various events that are organized by Black Hills Workshop. Established in 1958, Black Hills Workshop is accredited by the Council on Quality and Leadership. The organization operates a training center that provides care and support services to people with disabilities. The center serves more than 500 individuals with chronic mental illness and visual and hearing impairments. It offers health care management, case coordination, vocational training, nursing care, transportation and employment assistance services. In addition, the center provides respite care, social, educational and supported living services, as well as offers speech, occupational and physical therapies.
