Love Brass Hydrant, wouldn't take my pets anywhere else!

very flexible business, they were able to get me in with little to no notice. Also the Price was awsome at $32 iv taken my dog to petco and it was $75 not to mention i had to have my shot records on file there. I would reccomend very convenient location also on the west side of town.

NEVER take your animals here. The staff is rude and disrespectful. I took my Shiatsu to get a hair cut and they shaved him. When I complained they were VERY RUDE. I have never been charged so much for such bad service. A baboon could cut my dogs hair better. SAVE your money and Go to PETCO or a better groomer

We've taken our pets to the Brass Hydrant regularly over the years, but after this time will never return again. I took my Yorkie in for a hair cut, and when I picked her up three hours later, I couldn't even recognize my own dog because they shaved her COMPLETELY! I am more than upset with their performance, and quite frankly I do not think it is okay to shave someone's pet without their permission. Especially right before winter! I paid $40 for them to make my dog look awful. Then when I called the next day, they were not apologetic at all and claimed that I knew this is what was going to happen to my dog. I will never, ever return to this subpar groomer.

I've taken my yorkie here for the past year, and I am always happy with how she turns out. They do a great job keeping her looking like a yorkie. Other groomers I've been to end up cutting her like a schnauzer! Prices are comparable to others in the area. I pay around $33, which includes all of the "normal" grooming things plus a full body haircut.

Charge $20 more than other groomers in area. Staff get argumentive when complants are aired. Spoke down to us as if we had no idea what we where talking about. The two dogs belong to my mother-in-law who is 90 years old and very polite, so she does not air her conserns very well. I fell that they where taking advantage of her. When they called and asked to speak with her about the job that they "did" and I tried to discuse it with them I was hung up on me.

Staff was rude to us when we picked up the dogs and questioned the incorrect way they were groomed. They also charged $15 more per dog than any other groomer in the area. They claim they charged more because the dogs were shaved and not combed out. Where I come from, this is easier and definitely does not qualify for an additional fee. When we questioned the way the nails were clipped, a staff member said she would take the dogs and cut their nails until they "bled" just to prove to us that they had done them correctly the first time. Owner called us about concerns and then when he didn't like what he was told about his staff, he hung up the phone on my husband. Any business owner that treats a customer this way (happy or not) couldn't possible treat the animals any better! Take your furry friend to someone who cares! That is not this business!
