First Stop Gun is a great place to shop. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. First Stop Gun has the largest selection of guns in Rapid City and they are priced competitively.

I put a gun on layaway just before Christmas. I put 100 dollars down at that time. When I returned six weeks later to pick up the gun the salesman told me that the sale had been cancelled and my money was already returned to me. I told him that they were wrong and he went and got the owner who said he had to go check the books. After at least and hour went by he finally came back and said someone made a computer error. The employees where very rude and treated me like a felon. I will never do business there again.

I stopped in to First Stop to check out their handgun selection; looking for something for personal protection. I had just come from Cabela's, and their customer service was nil. Three of us ladies were ready to give Cabela's our business, and we were all treated "less than." Employee Jay "helped" me, and he had an attitude of 'why would you want a gun?' Hence us heading to First Stop Guns...should have come here first. The gentleman that helped me (and the other gentleman that helped my friend) were respectful, courteous, and more than willing to educate us on every question we posed to them regarding guns. I feel the price was great, as well, and I got a high-quality gun that suits me to a "T". Now if this weather would clear up so I could go try it out at the range, I'd be totally satisfied. :) I will definitely tell everyone about my great experience here, and I will not hesitate to purchase another fireman from this business.
