I am a local and my family and I have been eating there for over 20 years. Although not perfect the staff and the owner, Jerry, are wonderful. The food is usually high-quality and cheaply priced I would highly recommend it.

Had dinner at Golden Phoenix tonight, and almost had to stop at a gas station on the way home. My stomach is so crampy right now. In addition to my possible, unconfirmed food poisoning, my meal had little flavor and the service was pretty awful too!

i absolutely will not go anywhere else to eat chinese food, their food is delicious!! i highly recommend it, even though i have to drive a while to pick up my food, hey its worth it!! the staff is very courteous and polite...the atomsphere is great, and they always seem to have a smile for us!! thank you Golden Phoenix!!

Delicious year after year. Same owners not there today gone tomorrow. We have worked our way through the menu and the children love it.

I love eating here we love their lunch specials and the portion size is excellent. The food is tastey and customer service is great. I would definitely recommend this resturant to anyone that is looking for a great place to eat! Keep up the good work Golden Phoenix!

I go here at least once a week for carry-out. They know me by name and what I usually order. It is most always tasty. Sometimes I order things not on the menu but they make it for me anyway. I strongly suggest calling ahead on carry-out orders or the wait can be a bit long.

Best chinese food in Rapid City and the portions are very generous. Service is excellent and the owner Jerry is most gracious!!! Highly recommend this restaurant!!!

The restaurant is nice and the food is good priced. I don't care for the fried rice...but I don't usually get to that anyway. The shrimp in black bean sauce is so yummy. If you are after Good chow mein or a little higher price...try imperial. There food is always awesome! Have been eating there for 20 years, but under new management and prices have doubled! :(

Try the walnut shrimp. Absolutely the best. Enough for two people believe me. My wife also loves the lo mein.

Whenever our kids have the day off from school, we love to stop in for lunch...especially on Fridays for the Orange Chicken daily special...it's our favorite!
