On August 5, I was accompanied with my husband and brother – in – law for a late lunch at a local favorite, the Mongolian Grill. This restaurant staked its claim off of Lacrosse Street many years ago giving the locals a new way to look at Chinese Buffet. At the Mongolian Grill, you go pick between three size bowls (small, medium, and large) , once you have chosen the size you can then proceed down the buffet line chose from many different vegetables, meats, and noodles. Once you have the main part figured out, you can then choose between any of their many different sauces to create a unique taste just for you. At the end of this line, after you have the food and sauces figured out, there will be between 1-3 people next to a circular stove where they cooks will then proceed to cook your entre. Back at the table you are able to enjoy a bowl of steamed rice, your beverage, and of course you own stir fry creation. At the Mongolian Grill, the prices are right; the buffet area is always clean and stocked. When it comes to pay the bill, it is as simple as just simply going to the register and paying. If you are looking for a place to get a quick lunch or dinner, with great food, and good service, then Mongolian Grill is the place to go.
