Located in Rapid City, S.D., North Middle school enrolls more than 500 students in grades six through eight and is operated by Rapid City Area Schools. The school offers a wide variety of extracurricular, athletic and academic activities. Its academic curriculum includes math, science, social studies, English, reading, art, business and technology education, computers, family and consumer science, music, and physical and health education. It also provides homework assistance to students and offers free adult education computer classes to parents and the community. The middle school provides a wide variety of facilities and services, including a cafeteria, library, learning center, transportation and playing fields.
