This is the second time that we have stayed here for the Sturgis Rally. Last year we were here for 4 days, rooms were clean, good breakfast, great staff. This year, we booked our stay last September because we enjoyed the hotel and location. This year, complete change!! We were told that new air conditioning units were going to be installed in the units, the cost for the breakfast was going to now be $5 a person, etc... The new air conditioning unit has not been installed, our shower didn't drain, the cost for the breakfast is $8.50, not $5, the tables have not been cleared or wiped down from the last customers, several customers had to ask for silverware, coffee cups, creamer, napkins, etc... When the food was replaced, the staff dropped the spoons to scoop the food into the steamed water under the pans and put them back into the new food. The staff for the breakfast was the slowest group I have ever encountered. The only bright spot was our waitress (an older, short woman). I understand that this location is under new mgmt - they need to get their craps together. The Sturgis Rally can make or break this establishment.
