Provided by YPmobilewe stayed end of july in one of the waterfront cabins. when we arrived, our cabin was just being cleaned due to overnight guests that checked in at the last minute. we called the day b4 to tell them we were coming and the room was available and told them the time we'd be coming. when we got there, there was sand all throughout the cabin from just overnighters. i understand they needed the money but why couldnt they put the guests in another cabin that was available? the whole week we were there there was hardly anybody around! we did have neighbors with 2 small dogs that barked constantly and charged at my 2 boys. we knew we would be at a rustic campground but the decor was extremely outdated and loud so it was hard to relax and i constantly had to clean just to be able to relax. the kitchen was dark and dirty and i overheard the 2 cleaning ladies say that they have soo much to clean up after people but they dont get paid. by the time we left, one day early, were irritable from sleeping in damp lumpy beds every night that were at each other's throats. it also was very boring with nothing much to do, no kids for our kids to play with and only small yellow perch to catch. the fishing sucked. i dont think the price we paid for the cabin was worth the stay.

Provided by YPmobileWe pulled up with our 35 ft RV, and were greeted with kindness from the owners. I felt comfortable allowing my young children ride around the park on their bikes, as there were many signs encouraging people to drive slowly. The owners were nice enough to allow us to stay a few hours after check out so we could visit the lighthouse nearby. We stayed one for night, on our way back from the porkies, and it was a great place to stay. Clean, quiet, and friendly;)
One more thing- making the reservations was a breeze, emailed Kathy and done!

Provided by YP.comdirty, dirty, dirty when I stayed there, was a different hostess there than on the main site and she was rude, I would never recommend this campground. sounds like the owners put up their own review, how would any campers know "their god fearing people" and by the help you have I would take that statement lightly because she sure didn't act godly!

Provided by YP.comThis campground is a wonderful place to spend a night or a week. There is a great playground and pets are always welcome. The owners are frienliest, God fearing people I have ever met. Overall, a great rustic campground that will make you feel at home.
