Please disregard my review about the gas scam at this station.This is not where it occured. The station in question is on 2nd St. and Byron Ave. I have not been able to find the name of this station/convience store but will continue searching. I apologize for my error. dbw114

While traveling we stopped to fill up with gas using our credit card. The transaction would not go through so I went inside the station to find out what the problem was. The attendants told me that the pump was on and he did not know what the problem could be. No one offered to come outside to assist in any way. There was also another out-of-state traveler questioning why his pump wasn't working. After several attempts, we both could not get the pumps to work, and there was no way, that I could tell, to cancel the transaction. We both left and immediately I noticed a pickup backing into the same space I was. When we arrived home, sure enough, there was a charge on our credit card for $46.34 - 10/6/08 - Shell Oil #57429510100 - and we DID NOT get gas at this station. I believe this was an intentional act and should be looked into, as it probably is happening to others every day. We would like this to be checked on.
