Resident 15 yrs, small country post office. Consistently very poor customer service, we dread having to actually go in and will drive to Hobart to avoid. Needed to mail a gift card last week. Waited 15 mins while one employee helped a customer try to find a mail box lock that was obvious even to me that it needed to be ordered. Another employee ignored me and went outside to retrieve mail from the drop off box rather than get me, the only other customer waiting. Today I got notice my UPS package had been delivered and went in to retrieve myself (it was already 4 days late). Post worker stated the UPS bin hadn't been gone thru and sorted. Even though it was again obviously a slow time, she refused to go back and retrieve my package. Lazy, inconsiderate, rude people work this postal counter. I've even heard a usps delivery driver out of this location talk about the rudeness of the head postal mistress. Definitely on a power trip.

The folks who run this post office are of the best people you will ever meet. I have not known any in the greater Maple Valley/Ravensdale area to be more helpful or pleasant about going about their daily routines while always holding to the highest standard of neighborliness and thoughtfulness.

If you want to have real experienced professionals handling your mail I suggest you make a trip out here and get a glimpse of genuine country people smiling as they do their work because they care about the folks who walk through their doors.
