I have been seeing Dr. Lush for just over a year now. It is so hard to explain to him what's going on and what kind of care I need. He talks constantly and I can't get one word in. I have to interrupt him just to tell him my issues. He then continues on about how he had the clinic built, how many babies he has helped bring into this world, and about his daughter and what she does for a living. I understand being proud of your accomplishments but how does this help my medical issues? I have been waiting to hear more about gastric bypass and jumped through some hoops he told me to do. He said he sent in a referral to find out no one ever contacted the hospital. Now I am doing this on my own. He did refer me to a pain clinic where this doctor took me off my pain meds and all he wants to do is give me shots. I went back to Dr. Lush telling him I was unhappy with this Dr. Apparently now Dr. Lush does not prescribe pain meds anymore. He gave me a couple names of people who might be able to help me. The phone numbers didn't work. I am just frustrated and feel no one is listening. I know my body and what works best. I'm willing to try new things but if the Dr doesn't understand how can you get help. I just heard and I don't know if this is true but he has been fired. If this is true now I don't know how to find another doctor near me to help me with pain management.

This guy is the most disrespectful and uncaring doctor that I have ever seen. He is also quite arrogant. He will not take time to address my questions or concerns about my health. Seems to be more interested in other things about me that is not related to my health. He goes on and on about his personal life, which is not the reason why I was there to see him. Asks about my personal stuff that is not related to my health at all. I told him that I have been diagnosed with PCOS and he asked ME what that was. What an ignorant fool! I do not think that he keeps up-to-date with his medical practice. It appears that he is a doctor for the money, and not because he cares about people. I recommend that you do NOT go to this doctor if you care about your health.
