One may want to find a true Christian service other than this particular location (or, regrettably, Catholic Charities as a whole) within the Allentown Diocese. Initially, when arranging an introduction there was an attitude of coldness (a coldness I later heard was observed by another). However, I received seemingly kind treatment when meeting in person. But that began to be questioned when calls and emails went unanswered or even acknowledged. Then, with absolutely no warning, I was abruptly dropped from any sort of service and about to be hung up on, as I attempted to be heard when I simply tried to request a mere explanation as to what was happening. Consequently, in retrospect, any sort of charity given to me was therefore not genuine--going through the motions of charity is how this agency earns their wages, clocking out when they are done with a job. Sadly, this appears to be a business to run, not a charity. Like a bureaucracy, I was no longer a person with a name... I was a number.

And although this number could think of no great wrongdoings on his part, he was disregarded and disrespected, for he could not afford the humility of the merciful Christ.
