The Physical Therapy Department is operated by The Reading Hospital and Medical Center. Located in Reading, Pa., the department employs a staff of physical therapists who evaluate patients muscle strength, joint motion, balance, coordination and ability to perform typical activities of daily living, such as walking, standing, rolling. It offers treatment and diagnostic services for pain in back, neck, shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, foot and ankle, as well as orthopedic injuries. The department provides consulting and wound care services. The Physical Therapy Department also treats a variety of neurological conditions. In addition, the department conducts decongestive therapy and massage sessions.
