I found a hidden gem in Berks County. If you are looking for a "Home Away from Home" for your loved one, this is the place.



As you walk in the nicely decorated foyer, some oldie music is playing. So relaxing. You walk by and see happy residents reading the paper or socializing. You will also periodically encounter a black and white cat that is famous for escaping her room by jumping up on the handle and opening her resident's door (If not locked). Really, I saw the video.



The front desk is always accommodating. Thanks everyone!



A team of dedicated nurses and CNAs has gone above and beyond for my mom. They brought her back to good health with a diligent staff. If mom pulls the chord, they are right there. The nurses keep aware of what is going on with every patient.



Can't say enough about the entire dietary staff. The food is cooked from scratch and local farm produce is used when available. They offer restaurant style ordering so you get a nice choice. The food is excellent I feel confident to invite friends in for supper to visit mom. It is that good! Our desert one afternoon was a choice of Cho Cho's or ice cream. Who remembers Cho Cho's. That was such a treat. If you want to eat privately, you can request a table in another area. Always set up beautifully. My mom raves about it.



The Activity Director and assistant has more energy than the energizer bunny. They love all the residents and have lots of fun.



Mom just started with PT/OT. They are championing mom to her goals.



Mom's hairdresser on site is fabulous. She looks like a million bucks when she walks out of there.



The housekeeping team are dears. If I have a request, they are prompt and courteous.



I have certainly kept Sean in Maintenance busy with my requests for help with decorating or changing my mom's room. Always a smile.



The Management team has an open door policy and truly cares about each patient. Everything is open and transparent.



As a caretaker, you also look at the financial end. I believe they are very fair in price for all the services they offer.



If I have questions, they take the time to sit down and talk with me.

Very caring staff and experienced professionals. I'm very proud to work here among such great people.
