Provided by YP.comWhen shopping for a wedding gown, this is normally a time of joy and excitement. The girls in this store crush that. They will order you the dress you feel is "The One" but read your receipt, it does not guarantee that a "Wedding Dress" that you are purchasing will indeed arrive before your wedding. I ordered my dress 8 months before my wedding, at 1 month before the wedding, the dress was still not in. I heard other stories about this shop, only after the fact. I would never wish this stress upon anyone. They make you pay for their incompetent store workers. They do not know how to do measurements, alterations, or even write down simple numbers off a dress so that the right one gets ordered.

Provided by YP.comWhat a wonderful staff. They are helpful and enthusiastic. So many things to select from and willing to make alterations. This was a great experience for a child's bridesmaid dress. Can't wait to see the bride's dress.

Provided by YP.comI am totally shocked at these 2 bad reviews. Victorian Bridal is the best bridal salon in all of berks county. They had trouble with a girl that worked there previously, but now they have the most incredible staff . Everyone is soooo friendly and helpful in every way. They really make you feel like you are the most important bride, bridesmaid, mother of the bride, etc. in the whole world and that's how it should be! Ladies---please take my advice---visit Victorian Bridal for a great selection and the most helpful and courteous staff ever.

Provided by YP.comI just read the 1st 2 reviews and am apalled. In no way does this shop treat people like that. i have been in numerous times to look at formal dresses & always noticed the attention given to customers. There is alot of inventory which makes for a very good selection & discounts were given for almost everything. There is definately a feeling that these 2 people thought they were in New York & they watch to much TV. this is Berks County, the real world. Also, it is half a house, but the prices were remarkable & compared them to other stores. The store was clean & isn't as fancy as others, but I would rather get a good deal & good customer service than at a big fancy store. Also, watching the bridal show is an eye opener, the customer service isn't that great, they have real expensive ugly designer dresses.

Provided by YP.comThe store has new sales girls working for them. They are much more attentive to the customers needs. They listened to what I was looking for and made great suggestions. The girls seem very knowledgable about the merchandise. They were willing to do what ever they could to please us. They even offered to call manufacturers about special orders and deliveries. Because they don't take appointments there was no rushing around. We could have stayed all day and that was fine with them. I told all my friends to check them out! They made the dress shopping experience alot of fun.

Provided by YP.comSmall bridal boutique (located in half a house). The sales lady who I dealt with is no longer working there, but her people skills were definitely lacking. I was left unattended while looking for bridesmaid dresses in their 2nd floor area(after ordering my wedding gown from them) so she could chat with the mail-lady. When I called down to ask a question, she told me to just keep looking.
I met the owner twice, she too didn't seem very enthuastic about me or the fact that I had just purchased a wedding gown from them! I also walked in one time and found another sales girl trying on wedding gowns because she was bored. Poor customer relations.

Provided by YP.comIf you are looking for the "bridal experience" this is NOT the place for you. I went in fully expecting to find a gown. While they have a good selection, their customer service is seriously lacking. In addition, the floors were dirty, and the presentation of the store was very cluttered, and uninviting for a bride-to-be looking for a special experience. When I first arrived I tried to talk to someone about what I was looking for. I was simply directed to the selection of dresses, and told I could pull whatever I wanted to try on. There was one other person there at the time, and I was made to feel that my showing up was a major inconvenience (they don't take appointments). They don't seem to be equipped to handle multiple clients. I had NO help in finding what I was looking for. These people don't seem to know their own merchandise. I was taken upstairs to a very small fitting room that made it very difficult to try on dresses. Not only that, I had to try on the dresses with no assistance. Typically, an associate stays with you to help you. The only help I had was to be zipped up when I came out. The person "assigned" to help me wasn't much help. She was very out of touch and clueless about gowns. While I found two gowns that I liked very much, when all was said and done, there was no way they were going to get my business - they didn't earn it.
Trying on wedding gowns should be a special and memorable experience for every bride. Victorian Bridal in no way provides this.
