William Metteer Elementary School s facilities include more than 20 permanent classrooms, over 10 portable classrooms, a cafeteria complex and learning center. The school employs a nurse, psychologist, library technician, custodian, cook, instructional assistant and special education teacher. William Metteer Elementary School offers educational courses to students in kindergarten through grade eight in various subjects, including English, math, science, social studies, and health and physical education. The school s library is an instructional support center for the students and staff to enhance students reading skills and to improve their abilities to use technology and books.
