Provided by YP.comI've always had great experiences at Rock Creek resort. The first bonus is that the resort is out of town. Let's face it, if you're going to Red Lodge, MT it's because you want to get out of town. If it's summer, make sure you request a "creek side" room and sleep with the windows open. The sound of the creek, and cool mountain air, will provide the best night sleep you can remember. Old Piney Dell, the onsite restaurant, is quaint. It's a little dark and service is slower, but take time to visit with the one you're with. If you want your meal served in 5 minutes go eat at McDonalds in Billings. The Sunday morning buffet is a little expensive for a Montana meal (I think it was around $13) but it a fabulous buffet with a chef on site to cut you a slab of meat - and the crepes are awesome. Sleep in the next morning or walk out to the creek for a morning walk. You can litterally reach the water with a fly from your deck or "creek side" patio. This is a romantic hot spot. We've attended a couple of weddings in the lower level and their couldn't be a better backdrop than the tall pine trees and fresh mountain air.

Provided by YP.comMy Boyfriend and I were highly recommended to stay at the Rock Creek Resort and we had a very bad experience all the way around... He had made reservations for Valentines weekend which included a fruit and cheese tray with champayne and a discount for dinner at their resturant. When we first checked in, the front desk staff was very rude, when we got to our room our cheese/fruit tray had been sitting out all day and was warm, our room was not the nicest room at all, the resturant didnt have our reservations (had to make dinner reservations when we made Hotel room reservations), the wait staff was rude and very slow, and our experience just never got better only worse. It was bad enough I called the manager after we go back home, all the manager offered was a discount for our next stay, which we dont plan on staying again. I would just recommend making sure all staff is friendly and accurate with following through with the reservations. Also if a food tray is involved hand to the people when they check in.
