I had a crown to come off at 10:30 at night. I called his office the next day after looking on line for a dentist with a good review. My regular dentist retired last year. I could not get an appt. to see him for over a week . I had my crown and my tooth did not hurt. I found another dentist office close to my home and they could see me sooner . The dentist wanted over 3000 dollars plus the 280 dollars I paid for x-rays and I was to come back the following week. The dentist was also not the dentist who had the great reviews on the web, but a new dentist. The dentist with the great reviews was gone. - I thought I needed a second opinion and made the appt with Dr Schoonover. DDS. Was told it was not an emergency but to not wait too long to fix it. What a difference between the two dentist. He was kind and reassuring and very professional . The first dentist lacked those traits which matter a lot when you are an anxious person. He is great with his numbing skills. Felt nothing when he injected the needles. He fixed my tooth crown , fixed a cavity on same tooth for less that a fourth of the first dentist. His office staff, Amber ( front office ) and Elaine ( dental assistant) were top notch as well. I could go on and on, but please know you will not have a better experience at a dental office. Thank you again to everyone at his office.

Dr. Schoonover is the best "shot" giver I have had in a long, long time. All of his work is excellent and believe me between my husband's and my teeth, we have experienced a lot of dental care. Everyone from the front desk, the hygienist, insurance to the chair-side assistant is great. Even though we don't have children, I bet he's great with kids. Check it out.
