Red Wing High School is the local high school for Red Wing, Minn., with an enrollment of more than 1,000 students. The high school was founded in 1995 and serves students in grades nine through 12. It is a part of the Red Wing School District. The school s colors are purple and white and its team name is the wingers. It offers classes in several subjects, including art, business education, language arts, math, music, family and consumer sciences, health and physical education, agricultural science, social studies, science, industrial technology and world languages. It also provides cooperative education programs in business internship, retail business operations, market management and health occupations. The school provides scholarship and financial aid to eligible students. Red Wing High School has athletic teams in various sports, including gymnastics, swimming, basketball and hockey.
