Blessing from heaven!

When I totaled my car, the driver of the tower truck that towed my car said "go to Auto Maxx in Redding and look for Dennis. He helped me a lot and really gave me a good deal and worked with me. I would have not been able to get a car." Desperate in my situation as I had absolutely no money for down payment and my still ongoing divorce so screwed my credit, I took that as a guidance from heaven.

When I found them online, they have fewer selections of course than a big car dealership but I love that they're online website is updated with all the cars they have on stock and all the details of the vehicle and I have to say they have really good prices on their cars. So I went knowing which cars I'm hoping for. Hoping... coz I've been turned down 2 other dealerships before and had 7 inquiries for Auto Financing on my credit already which I was told was even a bigger red flag indicator that I can't get financed. Their slogan outside says something to the effect of "Walk in. Drive out." And I tell you, they meant what that slogan said. I came late after work at 5:30 on a Saturday. They're supposed to close at 6pm but they worked out on a deal and stayed however long it took until I drove out with the car. I have to say though, I already filled out the finance application online which is very easy. Maybe 3 minutes worth. And brought the requirements like pay stub, ID, insurance, etc. They are so helpful and very personal. The owners themselves man the place with another awesome agent. One warning though, they provide a one-customer-only type of service. In the time they were helping me, two people came by to want to look and ask about a car outside and truth be told, they gave the littlest effort and attention to an extent that they almost looked like they don't want to sell. But on both occasions, the agent tells me "I'm amazed at how people see you're with somebody and they would just interrupt and expect you to cater to them. I'm serving you right now." I'm like "U appreciate that but that's 2 possible business you just lost". He said "Well, it's your business that matters right now."

So, if they're talking to someone and got ignored, that there is a sign of quality service. And if they tell you cars are marked up at tax times, it's because they're down right honest. I wouldn't rate them as sales people. They're more like helping people. So be patient, look online and maybe apply online already or call for an appointment. You're in for a car-buying experience that an honest-to-goodness treat!

this place is a joke

I have been to this dealer once before and the first time i just didn't find something i like. So gave it a second glance when i was there i walked around and was ignored. After apt ten minutes the people the salesman was chatting and laughing with pointed towards me like go ahead and help him but was still ignored. So i said screw it. Today i saw a car i might be interested in but again the same guy young came and talk to me and i asked since tax returns alot of dealers have be giving good deals. But no he said if anything we mark up the cars. And when i asked about a mustang they had he tells me i deffinetally break on that it will sell fast at that price (keep in mind they $8000 ford a 2003 v6 mustang) he swore the car was only there for a few months even i looked at it 6 mths ago. BAsically they won't help you unless you pay weekday they want cause they know you would have to finance. There unreasonable and the salesman was an arrogant prick
