I have been seeing Dr. Gussenhoven for several years for my eye care. It is always a good experience she is very thorough and she makes it relaxing and upbeat. She spends time explaining your eye health as well as discussing your overall health care and how they are linked. Her staff is very friendly and helpful as well.

I have been going to see Dr. Julie Gussenhoven, OD, for 14 years now. It is always a pleasure. From the moment I am greeted by the reception staff, when I walk into the office, until my appointment is finished and I walk out the door, it is a pleasant experience. Dr. Gussenhoven makes your time there especially enjoyable because she shows that she cares about the health of your eyes by the excellent care and concern she demonstrates while she examines you.



Six years ago I had to move to Susanville, 112 miles away, but because I am so impressed with Dr. Gussenhoven’s care I continue to drive that distance for my yearly exams. I know I will continue to make that trip for a long time to come. Thank you Dr. Gussenhoven and staff for the service you give to me and, I am sure, to so many others.

My family has been going to Julie Gussenhoven, OD for years, I actually look forward to my appointments. Dr Julie has a wonderful bedside manner, she is very thorough and kind, she truly cares about her patients. The staff is amazing each one is very knowledgeable and helpful they all make you feel very comfortable!!

An awesome experience. Doctor was patient, kind and explained everything about the health of my eyes in language I could understand. Did not feel rushed or that get them in get them out feeling. The staff was also very helpful and very friendly. Just picked up my new pair of glasses today and really love them and can see so much better!!

Very helpful and accommodating! Never a long wait to be seen. Doctor is smart, takes her time with patient to make sure she is covering all questions and needs. The staff is all kind and professional, willing to do whatever they can to get you what you want. i have been wearing contacts for almost 15 years and the fist time i saw her she let me know thing i never knew about maintaining proper eye care with contacts. My vision has never been clearer and my eyes have never been healthier.
