Thurston High School serves students in grades nine through 12. It offers a range of subjects, such as mathematics, science, social studies, life sciences and English. Thurston High School offers a range of technology and advanced placement courses. The school offers a three-year program in foreign languages, including Spanish, French and German. It offers a variety of sporting activities, including cheerleading, football, volleyball, swimming, soccer, basketball, baseball, track and field, softball and golf. In addition, the school operates a health and physical education department that conducts classes in aerobics, aquatics, advanced swimming and lifetime fitness activities. Thurston High School is a part of the South Redford School District. The school is located in Redford, Mich.
