I was a student here for bit over a year and half, and I have to say that its a nice studio and the staff are very friendly, which is the pro of this place. However, this Authur Murray is like trying to make a sale at a car dealer, very extremely high pressure for everything dealing w/a business transcation! To beginning with, this place is very expensive! As an example, just for a one 40 min dance lesson your looking roughly in paying about $140 per private lesson. The group lessons are ususally very repetitive and not very challenging. Therefore, when you sign up its a contract, and usually your contract and your monthly payments would be most likely be higher or twice as much as your car payment. They charge interest rates of 18% just b/c you cant pay all of your lessons upfront for a whole year, which is insane, even though you pay your monthly payments prior to taking your lessons, which I think its a rip off!! This place is all about how much money they can suck up from you, and if you ever try to take a break or quit, good luck! Because their going to give you such a extreme hard time!!!! Again instructors are nice, but if price is not an issue for you, the instructors are friendly and good to take lessons with. However, if you want to take dance lessons and you dont want to have to pay an arm and a leg, I would suggest to go and try out "Shake It Up" dance studio also in Redlands which is less than half what you would pay at Authur Murray plus you get more additional time for your lessons and learn any dance you want. Two really good instructors that used to work at Authur Murray when I was a student there, have now transferred and now work at "Shake It Up" dance studio, so if you decide to try them out instead of Authur Murray, which I recommend you should, ask for Jonathan Seals or Raquel, their so much fun and you learn so much! Again, from my personal experience I cant give them 5 stars b/c this business lacks a lot of customer service when negoitation business transactions, their ridiculous pricing, intense high pressure sales and their insane "policies" they/owner creates which draws out more people from coming back and taking lessons at their studio. This Authur Murray dance studio needs to change their mentally that students take lessons here for fun as a "luxury" not as a necessitate! Best recommendation I can give you if you are interesting in taking dance lessons, is go to any other dance studio but here, b/c if you do I will assure you that you will regret it after so many headaches!

Wanted to take dance lessons forever, finally got up the nerve. Loved every minute, professional and very patient staff. I'm dancing now and having the time of my life.
