I have a 2 year old female boxer that runs on the lean side. She was supposed to be fed 2 cups of food twice daily during her 3 day stay at Coventry. When I picked her up she was emaciated, and terrified. She has stayed at Coventry before and I didn't have this issue... so I know it was not just separation anxiety. When I took her home, she was shaking and had her tail between her legs for hours. She was so easily startled that she yelped when I took my sweater off and threw it over my arm. This is NOT normal behavior for her. She is a happy, playful, energetic puppy! I called Coventry the next day around 11am and let them know my concern. The man that took my call said there were no notes on my account about my dog's eating habits or behavior. He said he would speak to his supervisor and possibly anyone that had contact with my dog and get back to me. I received a voicemail at 5pm at night. REALLY??? My animal's welfare was SO important to them that it took 6 hours to return a phone call? Absolutely ridiculous. Over the next 2 days I received 2 more calls from the same man that took the original call and NEVER from a supervisor. I had to take my dog to the vet and she's now being treated for malnourishment. No one can say if she was abused or mistreated, but the vet agrees with me that her behavior was definitely abnormal. So now on top of the money I paid to Coventry for the less than stellar care of my animal, I am paying for special food and vitamins to put weight back onto her. I will never trust these people with the care of my animal. Good luck if you do. Here's a picture of my poor Juliet when I got her home. https://scontent-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/t1/62962_10202256643716504_803805266_n.jpg

I have been bringing my yorkie, Chewie, here for 4 years now. I have only used grooming not boarding so I can only speak to my experience with grooming.

I have had nothing but good experiences here. I have dealt with several different groomers over the 4 years i've been bringing my dog here and have been happy every time. They are so nice to my spoiled brat of a dog. I can always see them loving on him and being just super great. I am always happy with his hair cuts.

I saw some bad reviews on Deb the owner. I like her just fine. She's always really nice and helpful. I've never had anyone rude to me.

My only complaint is it can get slightly pricey depending on what you need. For a full groom and teeth brushing its like $45 bucks, and for a 4 pound dog that seems a bit much. lol. But I guess you pay for quality. I would never take him to a petco/petsmart or an animal hospital to get groomed.

Anyways, I highly recommend this place and plan to keep taking Chewie here for many years to come.

First of all, Debra, who I understand is the owner is rude and condescending. Their pet grooming service isn't the best, especially for the price. They usually don't follow instructions very well. They also don't always return phone calls. This place is a poster child for mediocre to bad service that has a bad owner who runs this place. The only reason they are in business is because there aren't that many pet grooming businesses available in Redlands. I would never recommend this place to anyone who appreciates excellent service. The service at Animal Medical Center who also grooms dogs is far superior.

Best place ever....the friendliest staff, the best possible service...dogs are treated like royality. Deb, the owner, is always there, and she cares more for the dogs than she does for her own children! Seriously. Nice, clean, well kept facilities. Fun, play time for dogs. Fun, Grooming times, a very caring staff.

All-in-all, one of the best possible places for my beloved dogs as a "home-away-from-home."

Not Impressed

I will not be going back to Coventry Pet Resort and Spa anytime soon. My dog stayed there for about 9 days, I provided them with an easy to follow feeding schedule. He gets fed morning and night. They asked if I could pre packaged the food per day, which I did. I gave them 18 baggies of food. 2 per day for 9 days. When I picked my dog up they gave me back 7 baggies. My dog was not fed for 3+ days. And no one seemed to provide me with a straight answer.

Pet care with Trust!!

Coventry Pet Resort is a great place to take your pet for an overnight or extended stay. The staff welcomes you and your pet with happy faces and enthusiasm, giving you the ease and trust that your family companion is left in good hands. They feed your pet the same amount of food you do at home, they offer play/walk time with your pet, they will give your pet their medications and give them on the scheduled time needed and they also offer grooming services! I highly recommend visiting the resort and letting it speak for itself. I recommend Coventry Pet Resort for your next pet kenneling needs!

pet care

I have used the coventry pet resort on several occassions and feel that my babies have gotten very good care. I can tell how things went just by the response my babies provide both when they are left there and when they are picked up. I have had an occasion where I needed to drop them off because of a family emergency and they were more than happy to work out something for my babies so they could stay there, and another situation when I was running late and one of the employees offered to stay later so that I could pick up my babies and not have to wait until the next day and get charged for it. I am very fussy about where my babies stay and I'd have to say that Coventry ranks among the top.

Anne Marie?

Who is Ann Marie because there is no worker there named that. I know this for a fact! The ones that are up front are Larissa Palen, Emily, Nicole, Sara, Sue, and sometimes Debra (owner).

Haven't even been there yet, but...

I have to say, that I looked at ever one of the listings for the Redlands and surrounding area's, and this and one other (grooming school) are the only ones with a web site.

Myself, I like to see were it is I am taking my baby. I want to know as much about it as I can, before I am going to go there. And this one is the only one that seemed to take the time to let people know who they are, where they are, what they have to offer you and your pet, times and what ever else they felt that people would want to know.

And for that, I have chosen to try their services out of all those listed with nothing to say. Kudos to them for being informative. I will finish my review after my girl is done and see how it all went.

To all the other groomers, take note and let the people know who you are and business might flourish from it .
