I left FITT FACTORY (Redlands/ Mike) because I realized very quickly that these guys are the worst type of people to be involved with. Mike is hyper focused on getting your money. He will draw you in with a decent deal, then you will get the hard sale- and if you waver on signing up, it will make it awkward to do the month of workouts you JUST paid for. With his apps, auto texts and appointment setting, he’s trying to operate like WalMart.
The planned workouts are ok, but working out with Austin is pretty terrible. You know the know-it-all kid in college that talks all the time. Ever tried to work out with that? It’s pretty difficult. To make matters worse, I never saw Mike after the first day, even though I was told on that day that Austin was “in training” (I wasn’t even allowed to take the class Austin was teaching that day). I use the term “class” very loosely- nobody goes here. In two weeks, I only saw two other people.
There is a bully mentality here. Since I left, they have continued to harass and bother me. I get daily automated emails regarding payment for a contract term I never started.
Just judging by the complete lack of clientele, I’m guessing my experience is not unique.
So when you go by, and the place is empty, you know why. I guess when you run a business like this, you depend on collecting money for services you never provided.
