Franklin Elementary School, established in 1903, has a teaching and supporting staff of more than 60 members who serve approximately 860 students in prekindergarten through grade five. It maintains various school organizations, including a parent-teacher association, school site council, as well as running, newspaper, homework and reading clubs. Franklin Elementary School conducts classes in the English Language Development program, gifted and talented education, art, instrumental music, and physical and health education. The school organizes various cocurricular activities, such as coffee with the principal, parent education workshops, family nights, award assemblies, writing celebrations, science fairs, Junior Olympics and back-to-school nights. Franklin Elementary School is a Title 1 school and is located in Redlands, Calif.
